Education

My undergraduate degree is from DePaul University where I received a degree in Latin American Studies Fallowing my graduation I received my state bilingual certification (type 29) Currently I am a graduate student at Loyola University and the Erikson Institute. I am studying for a dual masters in Child Development and Social Work

Experience

Currently I tutor Spanish for 4 children once a week. The lessons are designed to supplement the Spanish the students are learning in their Spanish class in school. I worked as a bilingual kindergarten teacher at district 34 for two years. There I provided my students with all Spanish instruction. Additionally, last year and through out my undergrad I have also worked as a tutor for young children (8 and younger) assistanting them with homework several times a week.
